The ICCB works directly with the Illinois community colleges and adult education entities to provide guidance and leadership in areas affecting funding. With community college and adult education system input, the Finance and Operations area contributes to the development of the System Operating, Capital, and Adult Education budgets. In order to affect policy and funding decisions, the ICCB maintains financial data for research and analytical purposes. Staff deal directly with specific data submissions and state level administrative responsibilities to effect a positive impact on the system and demonstrate statewide accountability of state appropriations for community college and adult education purposes.
