I think technology is a great tool in a classroom BUT I think it’s important to also learn how to do things and be able to teach somewhat “old school”. If my lesson plan is so tech heavy and my computer crashes or the internet goes out and I cannot teach, then I’m sunk. As educators, we are doing our students a little bit of a disservice by making all of life tech based. Obviously, if that’s our only choice then by all means use what ever tool we can. In person though, needs to be a little pulled back.
Students have been collaborating in person on projects for a very long time now and need to keep learning to do so.
